Connecting to the download service…

FROM PHONE TO CLASS

One cable. Three steps.

You need both downloads and a USB data cable.

01

Get your phone ready

Install the Android APK. Enable Developer options and USB debugging, connect your data cable, and allow debugging for your own PC. Open LumaLink Camera and allow camera access.

02

Connect on Windows

Extract the entire Windows ZIP. Run Install Virtual Camera.cmd once, then open LumaLink Studio. Enter the six-digit code shown on your phone and choose Connect USB.

03

Choose LumaLink Camera

Restart your receiving app. In Zoom, select LumaLink Camera under Video settings. In OBS, add it as a Video Capture Device. Keep both LumaLink apps open and select your PC microphone separately.

A LITTLE MORE CONTROL

Make the picture
work for you.

Adjust brightness, contrast and colour. Choose Natural, Original, Low light or Vivid. Rotate, mirror, zoom and control exposure from your desktop.

Start with 720p, a 30 FPS limit and JPEG quality 75. Actual frame rate depends on the phone, light and processing load. Manual focus and other controls appear only when the lens supports them.

BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD

A few useful answers.

Is LumaLink really free?

Yes. Both downloads are free. We ask for your name and email to keep a download register; no payment or subscription is required.

Which phones and computers work?

The APK requires Android 8 or later and Camera2 support. Hardware testing so far covers the Samsung Galaxy A14 SM-A145F with a Windows PC. Other devices are not yet verified. The Windows app needs .NET Framework 4.x and a working Android USB driver. Camera capabilities vary by device.

Does it work with Zoom and OBS?

LumaLink includes a Windows virtual camera named LumaLink Camera. Direct video capture has been verified in OBS. The device is intended for Zoom too; a Zoom meeting test is still pending. This version sends video only.

Why is there an installation notice?

This is an early access release distributed directly from this site. The APK uses a development signing key and the Windows app is unsigned. Only proceed if you trust this download. The virtual camera installer needs administrator access.

What do the download numbers mean?

Download clicks count confirmed requests saved in the Google Sheet after registration. Registered downloaders counts distinct submitted email addresses that requested a download. Addresses are not email-verified. Neither number confirms a completed download or installation.

Is this connected to DroidCam?

No. LumaLink is an independent app. It does not distribute DroidCam software. The Windows virtual camera uses the MIT-licensed UnityCapture filter; its license is included.

Privacy & download data

Helacode saves your name, email, optional phone model, consent date and download requests in a private Google Sheet. This is not a marketing signup. Public visitors see totals only. Emails are self-reported, not verified. A random browser token remembers registration for up to 30 days; personal details and authoritative counts are stored in the Sheet, not in browser storage. This website does not collect camera video.

Records remain until Helacode deletes them. Use the button below from the browser where you registered to request deletion. Helacode reviews requests in the private Sheet. Google processes requests and stored data as the service provider. Counts measure download requests, not completed downloads or installations.
